The  Colgate Online Continuing Professional Development Program

 

Anyone can attempt the quizzes and test their knowledge free of charge; however, if you wish to claim CPD points, please be sure that you are happy with your answers, as you will not be able to submit the quiz a second time. All attempts will receive an email to let you know your results.

A new quiz format has been released in February 2012. You will be able to attempt each quiz ONE TIME ONLY. PLEASE BE SURE THAT YOU ARE HAPPY WITH YOUR ANSWERS BEFORE YOU SUBMIT YOUR QUIZ RESPONSE.

To claim CPD points and receive your official CPD certificate:

  • complete the quiz , making sure that you include your email and/or mailing address
  • we will respond within 5 working days with your results and the certificate application form
  • you will then need to fill in your CPD points application form and payment ($35 per quiz), and fax, email scanned form or mail to us.

The program will enable you to accrue 1 CPD point for each online quiz.

Colgate Oral Care are sponsoring:    Currently, hygienists who are members of the Australian or New Zealand Dental Hygienists Association may receive one Authorised Certificate free of charge.

  • Dental erosion - the emerging dental problem?  - old version
  • Erosion focuses on detecting and managing dental erosion, and reports on the scientific evidence that suggests that the prevalence of erosive dental defects is increasing.

  • Diabetes and oral health  - old version
  • People with diabetes are more likely to develop gum disease, and if their blood sugar level remains high, their gum problems are likely become worse.

  • Dental health during pregnancy and early childhood   - old version
  • Some expectant mothers will experience dental problems. Dental care and education provided to a mother during pregnancy is likely to influence the oral health of both mother and child.
