Mr Kostas Kapellas
Honours Student

Kostas Kapellas is an oral health therapist who combines part-time
clinical work within both the private and public sectors with investigating
the validity of a selection of periodontal screening questions on a diabetic
population from the western suburbs of Adelaide. The project is an extension
on the datum collected during the NSAOH and forms a part of his Bachelor
of Science in Dentistry honors degree. He is currently co-mentored by
Professor Slade and Professor Bartold from ARCPOH and the Colgate Centre
at the University of Adelaide and Dr. Patrick Phillips from the Queen
Elizabeth Hospital on this project.
