The Adult Dental Programs SurveyThe Adult Dental Programs Survey (ADPS) samples adult patients attending for public-funded dental care. Data are collected on patient characteristics, visit details, services provided, and oral health status. The ADPS was initially collected during 1992-93 as part of the Research Database on Dental Care for Adults in Australia. As part of the Evaluation Project of the Commonwealth Dental Health Program the ADPS was collected as a cross-sectional survey of service provision in 1994, 1995, and 1996, and as a prospective survey of oral health status over the period 1995-96. Another round of national data collection of oral health status occurred during 2001-02. Conducted under agreement between the Commonwelath Department of Health and Ageing and the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare. |
